*Hangs head in shame* I haven't blogged in so so long. Life is what happens when you're making other plans right? I make no promises that I won't go straight back onto a blogging binge and then forget about it again but I can only try.
One of the things I have been up to though is a trip to the wonderful India. Seeing the sites in northern India and then heading to Goa for some beaching/pooling/tanning.
From London we flew to Delhi for a few days, then onto Agra, Jaipur, Goa and finally Dubai before home.

Agra is quite different to Delhi. Delhi seems to be a lot busiest with so much more going on whereas Agra, the home of the Taj Mahal really is very touristy.
A palace built by Akbar the Great the site is full of loads of details like these Elephant arches and different fruits engraved into the pillars.

Next we headed off to Jaipur.
Probably my favourite place we visited was Jaipur. Of course a big city, the population of every city we visited well bigger than London but I liked the vibe. There were lots of lovely elephants too which helped!

The flight was a bit of an ordeal, Delhi domestic departures are a bit hectic but we got there eventually. Goa was completely different to the rest of the stops and felt a lot more like a usual resort where you could be anywhere in the world. But it was a nice change from the rest of the sight seeing schedule we'd had.
All in all I would thoroughly recommend a trip to India. Maybe it's not to everyone's style and it can get a bit intense, a girl we met got a bit of culture shock and was too scared to leave the hotel when she first arrived. But all in all we had a lovely time and had a once in a life time experience.
Will share my thoughts on Dubai next time...
Now to plan our next trip. Any recommendations for good deals?
